Corine Toren is currently a 4th year Global Studies major at UCSB. She is new to the Global Societies Journal, but is excited to be a part of the editing team! She chose Global Studies because she enjoys learning about other cultures and societies that are different than her own. Her other interests include writing, traveling, learning new languages, and baking.
