3.1 Conflict of Interest Statement

Global Spheres Journal requires all financial, commercial or other relationships, which may be considered a potential conflict of interest, to be disclosed. All authors are required to declare the absence of any conflict of interest, if no such relationship exists and the research has been conducted in the absence of any financial, commercial or other relationships. In order to determine whether there is a potential conflict of interests, the authors should address the following and disclose all relationships and/or activities if answered affirmatively.

1.     Has the author or the affiliated institution received compensation from a third-party entity in return for the research submitted for publication?

2.     Does the existing or other relationships give appearance of influence by the third-party entity on the research submitted for publication?

3.     Does the existing or other relationships give appearance of being potentially influencing the research submitted for publication?

Every manuscript is required to be submitted with a cover letter addressed to the Editor. The first paragraph of the cover letter should indicate the title of the manuscript and the article type. The authors must state that the manuscript is original and has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. If similar work has be submitted to other publications, the authors should disclose that and may be noted to provide Global Spheres Journal with a copy. The cover letter should explain how the manuscript fits within the scope of the Global Spheres Journal and it include a brief description of the significance of the manuscript and its possible contribution in the field of Global Studies.

3.3 Research involving human subjects and animal research

Research studies which involve human participants must be conducted in accordance with appropriate institutional and national guidelines, with the approval of ethics committee of the author’s institution, and with the full consent of all involved human subjects. In this sense, all authors must offer a statement claiming that appropriate ethics committee approves the research and human subjects involved in the study have provided the author with a written statement of consent. If underage children are involved in the study, a consent of a parent or legal guardian is necessary. Research studies which involve animal research must be conducted in accordance with appropriate institutional and national guidelines. All authors must offer a statement claiming that appropriate ethics committee approves the animal research.
